My family has a vacation house in Molson, Washington . Our primary residence is a 5 generation Dairy Farm in Custer Washington (north of Bellingham) - One of the best preserved Ghost towns of the American West. I have more or less been responsible for the house, the house has historical been used only in the summer months for 2 - 4 weeks a year and sits empty the rest of the year. I'm currently living here mostly full time as I get deeper into the project of the home's restoration, taking care for of things for my family's estate, and decompressing from 5 years on the Coast Molson is in the Interior of Washington State - In Okanogan County an extraordinary place of great natural beauty, and salt of the earth kindred spirits. I have lived in my family's house off and on over the years - it is a 2 bedroom house with all the amenities, kitchen, shower, washer and dryer, living room, internet - etc. There is a guest bedroom that I hardly use, and I am anxious to be able to share the house that my great grampa built and make new friends - bring new people to enjoy the wonder and originality of The Okanogan Highlands, Oroville and Molson --- I am able to accomodate 1-5 people for up to 2 weeks. I will provide food and shelter. etc. *Disclaimer* - this isn't exactly roughing it, but I am in the process of restoring my family's house which is built after WWII - so it is a bit of a project place. it is not a perfect house. but it is cozy, has an amazing view of Molson and Sidley lakes, has all the fixins and it is overflowing with love, coziness, and good conversation and eats --- you are really doing me a favor by visiting, as I like to give of myself and share --- it is part of my nature. Molson is a good place to rest, regroup, and explore the natural areas , backroads, and history that is right near the surface. There are also many cheap and free campgrounds nearby, about a half dozen within 1o miles of my house. and lodging down in the Valley in Oroville up the Wahzzooo --- If you have an open mind, and are willing to accept things that are perfect by their imperfection, and the fact that my house is being restored, but is still perfectly habitable - then this is a place for you to visit.
