ABOUT ME

I am a wife, mother and psychology instructor at UTRGV. Life can get pretty chaotic at times, but it's my goal to slow down and live a life of purpose.
I'm constantly changing, growing and learning. I'm usually a pretty upbeat, happy person and at times can be a little odd, but that's what makes the world go round.
I am passionate about learning and thought a career in teaching would provide me with constant opportunities to learn, so here I am. I'm fascinated by the human mind and all of its inner workings.

I've both hosted and surfed.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a bunch and surfed a few times and also helped to organize a beach camp out. I love getting to know other surfers and love connecting with like-minded people. I'm hoping to get a more active CS community here locally as well.

I like folk, indie rock, oldies, etc. I like to read a lot of non-fiction and books on spirituality and awakening.

I feel as if I'm evolving so quickly and learning so much everyday - like I'm not the same person I was just yesterday.
My favorite adventure last year was going bungie jumping at SPI. Next on my list is sky diving.

I've recently started up my own small business called EnviroZen. I started out making natural soaps and am beginning to branch out and now make household cleaning products that are free of the junk you'll find in a lot of mainstream products so it's safe for you and our Earth!
