CURRENT MISSION

I am a digital nomad and a motivational speaker who loves to travel, write books, design graphics and sing. I have traveled across almost every part of east Africa plus much more as a digital nomad & a motivational speaker while working with high schools and the corporate world.

I'm an open minded person who means what he says and generally someone you can totally enjoy hanging out with especially when it comes to plotting crazy fun ideas. My love for the road makes me wake up thinking of where to visit next. My dream is to see the whole world, meet people and share my experiences and that's why am on couch surfing.

ABOUT ME

Born and raised in a humble home in the eastern county of Kenya in a small town called Tala, i grew up knowing that life is what you make of it. I cannot complain about a sad background, but i rejoice for i made the right choices by choosing to love others as i do to myself or my family. Have you ever imagined living in a world with no people, no one to talk, or to lean on? It would be pretty devastating.

My passion to travel the world made me decide to work as a motivational speaker and for the past 10 years, i have traveled far and wide speaking in conferences, high schools and events around the world on matters of school life, success and finance while still writing books, singing and of course graphic designs.
Optimism is key, thus, wherever i go, whoever i meet, he/she never remains the same. I tell it all because life is all about sharing and molding someone else to get better.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in having one glorious moment than years without a name. Investing in experiences is the best gift you can ever give to yourself. Material things come and go but experiences are forever incorporated in your life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couch surfing is a platform which allows me to meet people, share my ideas, experiences and gain much knowledge all for free from the larger world community rather than just confining myself to my village and gain nothing much.
CS also has made me believe that there are still good people out there. At the moments when you feel low or you need something exiting to do, try couch surfing and you will understand that good times is not about money or property but good people, and that is the CS community.

Interests

Lately, i have a great passion in digital nomad-ism. Understanding how to travel as you make a little extra income feels very good. Online world is making it easier for travelers to travel full time while just working on their laptop or their mobile devices. This gives me all the freedom i need and its the best feeling ever.

I love house music, electric, love songs and African traditional music.
My favorite singers include Enrique Iglesius, Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, plus many others.

Books:
Best books include all motivational book and personal finance by Tom Hopkins, Dave Ramsey, Robert Kiyosaki, Ramit Sethi, david Bach, Miles Monroe, Brian Tracy, Zig Ziglar, Les Brown & many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was able to visit over 5,000 schools in less than 7 years during my past motivation talk tours. These tours made me realize how beautiful life is and how children are well informed. They asked me thousands of questions some quite weird (hahaha...) and i was always extra happy to mold their lives to the better. Now years later, i always get hundreds of emails from most of them who are in universities and others in jobs just trying to keep in touch while giving me their success news. This gives me strength to travel even more and impact other peoples lives too.

* I can give you a simple tour of Nairobi touristic sites or any other place of interest.
* We can hang out in the evening in local joints and be a good company to you.
* We can cook together & share meal as i teach you Kenyan cuisines (And also teach me yours)
* Anything else that i can afford or be able to give, am ready to offer.
