I am a Canadian guy who loves travel and meeting people. While my wife and I travel together most of the time, I do solo trips most years to places she does not love: hot climates, spicy food, crowds and noise. In the past few years I have gone to India, Nicaragua, Shri Lanka and Viet Nam for month long trips on my own. My travel style is close to the ground taking local transport and eating local foods. Often I stay in hostels as well as with SERVAS hosts (another travel organization I belong to).
