I live up in the mountains where its peaceful. I absolutely fell in love with the area. I have a love for cooking andblacksmithing and plan on getting a forge set back up now that I moved. Im a pretty relaxed person, I dont demand much from guests other than a little bit of communication before your stay just to get to know who Im inviting into my already intimate home. I myself am not a smoker but if you wish to smoke by all means do so, it does not offend me. I may not smoke but I drink quite often, and will most likely wish to share a drink with my guest(s) I am not religious in any way and will not preach at you for things you do lol.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Quite honestly I just enjoy meeting new people. The more stories you have the better. Like I mentioned above I would like to speak to you beforehand just to get to know the person who im inviting into my home. So adding you on facebook or skype would be ideal, texting is also an option as well. I am not apposed to lending someone a warm bed to sleep in but I generally stay away from people just looking for a free ride. But I do welcome travelers. I do not ask anything demanding of my guests other than just being clean and being respectful of the few belongings I have. I also appreciate contributing to food or drink (I am not a miser in any way but it gets a little taxing on the wallet when you are feeding another mouth multiple times a day, for a week or two on end.) Food is generally on me but I would like a little chipping in now and then heh. If you have any questions about anything dont be afraid to ask. Let me know anything specific I need to cater to for you like anything relating to diet or allergies. Last thing I want is a guest dead from eating peanuts or something.

I enjoy cooking, so swapping recipes is a must! Im a blacksmith as mentioned so maybe I can get your hands a little dirty and show you some stuff on the anvil.

A comfortable bed A hot meal A cold drink A warm shower And WiFi and TV while you are here. Can also get ya up to in Grandfather Mt for the hiking trails for free haha There are a number of hiking trails nearby, I live rather close to a lake as well.
My Interests
Grew up an outdoor kid. Was always camping, fishing, and hiking. I LOVE to cook. Im also a blacksmith and a wannabe writer. I don't do anything crazy really. I go on the occasional hike or camping trip but I spend most of my time working or loafing on my porch. When I get my forge up and running again I will be doing that on my free time mostly.
