Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I think it is valuable to meet local residents of an area to exchange stories and experiences. It is amazing how small and connected the world can begin to feel. I hope to one day own an apartment or home in an area where I can host! Since I do not currently own an apartment or home that I can host at - that dream will have to be on hold.
Music, Movies, and Books
I appreciate most art forms, genres and styles. In particular, I love indie, folk and jazz music. I really love books that grow my ability to empathize or challenge me to think or change.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Moving to France for a Summer at age 18 to Au Pair for a family that did not speak my mother tongue to learn French.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I can share my English language, my knowledge of French, my desire to learn new languages and cultures, my love for creating music and teaching piano, my love of being active and playing sports, my easy-going personality, a big smile, or my (average) cooking abilities.
