Hi folks!

First and foremost I am a queer inter-sectional feminist passionate about social justice. I'm currently living and working near Taiyuan, Shanxi as a teacher at a liberal arts college. My background is in anthropology, archaeology and English literature and I'm endlessly curious about the human experience(s). I'm kind, honest and open, though admittedly an introvert. I'm working towards being a a caring and accountable person and like to surround myself with folks doing the same.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing for a few reasons:
1. I think the community is really wonderful and it's something I'd like to be a part of and support.
2. I think that access to travel should not be reserved for only those who can afford expensive accomodations.
3. I'd like to be able to host people in a safer space and share my city with them.
4. When travelling I'd love to be able to meet people that live in the places I'm visiting to benefit from their knowledge and perspectives.
