About Me

Inventive and accepting

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Make connections!

Interests

I'm about "sanctuary" I guess. I'm pretty into how environments effect us and myself. I'm also passionate about creating emotional sanctuaries for myself and others or at least defining what that means and how to create these santuaries are my life's passion. That's the way I would describe myself these days at least. Anyway, I'm a fun creative type who currently resides in a house my great grandfather built in the 1930s here in a small town named Winchester. It isn't an area that is super happenin' in terms of culture or modernism but I just am offering a place to couch surf in my new "sanctuary" if you were to want to meet an unlikely eccentric type in the very rural Midwest to spend time making a new connection or resting your bones or going and exploring the area (I'm open to most possibilities)

Also, with the upward trend involving everything spiritual and energy and yada yada I've decided that my new vague life goal is to delve into everything Venus-related (is venusian the word? Haha), therefore I'm starting my greenhouse business growing exotic flowering plants in my basement, and I'm opening my home as a vacation home to others, I'm focusing on career, music, writing, and the healthful sensual delights of this Earth like human connection and comfort. I think at least that's what I'm supposed to do to find my way in the world so that's what I'm going to do.

The upstairs here I'm planning on turning into a comfy oasis for travelers as well so that's going to be fun for me over the next few weeks. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

The strokes, Queen, a lot of psychology and science non fiction but I like fiction too, reading the body electric and some Buddhist literature and some silly fiction too

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am guessing you want a traveling story but I don't travel much which is why I'm finally on here :) haha

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm told I will go on about knowledge on a topic or while giving advice or something and then at the last minute I'll say something like "but I dunno" or shrug but I have a lot of rare skills and talents and teaching is something I really like doing so, I know a lot about...

Building terrariums, growing house plants, aquaculture, lazy hydroponics, making kombucha, orchids, design, psychology, philosophy, composting, construction, energy medicine, essential oils, woodworking, I have raised chickens, rabbits, fish, music, art, mechanical things...I'm really just typing things so that I can not sell myself short like usual but I'll need to edit this :)/

I guess I only know a little about some of these things but

What I Can Share with Hosts

Fluffy dog to cuddle with, likely organic food in the fridge, delightful company, 2 rooms to yourself, shared bathroom though, a park one block away, a companion to explore with, a relaxed host who doesn't mind what you would like to go do, in the spring I'll have a huge garden going on because I'm finally going to install an irrigation hose:), there's the family farm to explore, I was planning on going to look for unique rocks out on the land before it's planted in the spring :), this is a small town similar to most small town but there is also Muncie and Richmond 30 min away which have more things going on as well :)
