Hello! My name is Kentaro Kanamori and I’m from Osaka, Japan. I’m 22 years old and a university student in Okayama prefecture, studying about agriculture. I am currently studying in the United States as an exchange studnent until December, 2023. That’s an easy introduction about me!

I did a solo trip in Eastern European countries from May 2nd to June 14 in 2023

What I can offer for you is vinyl music, travel talking, going to pub with you, and sleeping place. I only have one room so you gotta sleep in the same room on the floor (I’ll offer you a mattress and blanket)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Last time I travelled in Europe, I couldn’t interact with local people and couldn’t understand their culture well. That’s why I want to stay at local peoples home to experience the real life and interact with local people to get know about the city well. Also, since I am a student( don’t have money much haha) and I like trying this kind of not-common things, that’s why I have decided to give it a try to use this app.

Once I go back to Japan, i’d love to start accepting guests!

I like listening to classic rock, Lo-fi, indie rock & pop, J-rock & pop, and Jazz as well. I don’t like reading books but I like watching movies. The best movie i’ve watched so far was “Hachi” since I have my dog.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I didn’t use my phone at all for 2 years to pass the entrance exam for an university when I was in high school. I studied 4 hours a day at least after school finished for 2 years and I could pass the entrance exam of my university (It is not that smart university but for me it was super smart university at that time)! I am so proud of myself haha
