Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
It is important to give back. I’ve been the recipient of such great generosity while I’ve travelled. In return, I’ve hosted a variety of travellers from North America, Brazil, France, England and beyond.
Open to providing a sofa or bed to foreign travellers and some insights into Canadian thinking. Domestic travellers OK too. Maybe even force them into sitting for a photographic portraiture shoot and endless hours talking about cars, travel, finance and much more.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have couchsurfed in Canberra and Sydney, Auckland, Dunedin, Toronto, Ottawa (including a few times sleeping in the Elvis Shrine), Hong Kong, Japan, Vancouver, Florida, Germany, Finland, Brazil, Italy, Louisiana (it is like a different country after all), and England. A fabulous way to get a feel for the local culture and make new friends.
