About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm currently starting a PhD project in freshwater biology at the Hólar University in Northwest Iceland. I'm mainly interested in ecology and insects (and invertebrates in general).
I like to think of me as reliable, easygoing, curious about people and their ways of living... Most of the time I try to be optimistic - makes life easier.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfed couches in Iceland, Denmark, Finland, and Germany - only good experiences yet! If I have space and I'm not too busy, I host people with interesting profiles. Was joining some CS meetings as well.
Interests
I like travelling and being in the nature (doesn't matter if I'm surrounded by mangroves, rain forest, coral reefs, glaciers, lava fields, or the black forest) - but at the same time I also enjoy the cultural life in cities all over the world. I love to cook (and eat!) with and for friends, and I can spend hours with a gripping book and some bars of chocolate. Or with good beer (I'm honest, it's hard to stick to "just one"...) and nice company.
I try to go swimming regularly, and I recently started archery and geocaching.
