a tumultuous few years has now found me happily digging my new hole in NYC. currently working in manhattan and living in brooklyn, enjoying my home and my youth while its still here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i look around the site and see that there is a ton of cool people involved in this. then i try to make plans to somehow meet these people, sleep on their couches and eat their food. then, i open up my couch and kitchen to the same people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

it's been a fun way to meet a lot of great people i'd otherwise never meet. surfing, parties, surfing. it gives me a deeper understanding of the complexity of the world and the common thread of humanity.

Interests

music, movies, art, buildings, traveling to far off lands and nearby hovels, soccer (worldwide), staying up late, traveling without being a tourist.

"i like anything". except all the stuff i don't like.

i like mostly modern "indie" rock/pop, bebop jazz, that old chicago blues,
films: dramas and dark comedies.
books: semi-philosophical, semi-political non-fictions, cultural reflections, humor.
