About Me
CURRENT MISSION
We live in a nice, comfortable small village but still like to be connected to the rest of the world.
ABOUT ME
We are a family of five. My husband and I and three grown sons, who are only sometimes home. Most of the time we have exchange students with us. So far they came from Mexico, Belgium, USA, Columbia, Mongolia and Japan. Our sons have been living with families on the Phillipines, in Costa Rica, Chile and Ecuador. We have lived in the United Kingdom in Maine,USA and Japan. My husband travels to China for work.
PHILOSOPHY
depends on the mood
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We can offer a place to stay. Depending on the given situation (in case all boys chose to visit and or former exchange student come to visit) we might have to put you up in the living room. The beds are first given to family members and friends who work for money, next to persons who work without pay and so on. The one who can sleep late might end up with a matress on the floor ; )
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been able to stay with friends all over the place and had people stay with me even when I only had a one room apartment in Hamburg or NYC.
Interests
Food, since my family likes to eat. Walking holidays with a tent in the woods. My husband enjoys rock and ice climbing.

Music, Movies, and Books
We like to watch movies in the cinema in our village. I have many books available at our library. Music varies with mood and work load.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Have three kids and watch them grow.
