I'm a 26 year old with a lot of hobbies! My grandma always told me to do what I love and what makes me happy, so for the past several years I've been doing my best to make a living off of doing just that. I'm into playing music, traveling, making art/crafting, photography, nature, hiking, collecting crystals & making jewelry with them, making & eating good food, going to breweries, gardening, making new friends and many other things.

I've always been interested in seeing new places and meeting the people who live there. Because of my hobbies I've begun to travel more around the US the past few years and have met tons of amazing and interesting people along the way. It has constantly inspired me to see more! I'm very into mineral collecting, or "rockhounding," which is something I always travel for or try to do when traveling. I love meeting fellow rockhounds in the community and collecting with them! The only problem with travelling so far to collect is that I usually don't know anyone in the areas and I usually end up looking last minute for hotels, campsites, air bnb's, etc., which has been too costly. But having a shower after a day of collecting crystals is always refreshing! I always have camping gear in my car in case I find a free spot, but weather isn't always camping friendly. Since I love meeting people and traveling, I figured I'd give couch surfing a try after hearing about how awesome it is from a friend. I figure I can make some great friends in more places and if it's something I really like, maybe I could start hosting people where I live (right near the wonderful beach town Asbury Park, NJ).

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music: (jam music, funk, jazz, rock) I'm a musician so I'm into a wide variety of stuff..some are the Grateful Dead, Beatles, Lettuce, Snarky Puppy, Herbie Hancock, Hiromi, Taj Mahal, David Grisman, Hiatus Kaiyote, etc.

Movies: whatever I'm in the mood for, I love watching movies!

Favorite book: don't read much but loved The Alchemist, currently slowly reading Buddha and Jitterbug Perfume.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Spent 2 months at the beginning of 2017 traveling the west US (NV, CA, OR, and AZ)! I saw so much beauty, met so many cool people, found lots of cool crystals, went to breweries all over, and got to explore so many new places. I've thought of moving to California since.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I'm a multi instrumentalist and love playing music for or with others. I love learning from others who are better then me or teaching what I know. Also because I'm very into crystals I love talking about them with people or teaching them the stuff I know or simply just showing people what I've found or seeing their collection. I also enjoy wire wrapping crystals into jewelry pieces and showing people my work. I'm interested in learning more about photography, agriculture, plants, animals, mushrooms, and nature in general. Nature just fascinates me! I feel like I'm a scientist at heart who just hasn't fully committed to the field yet because the other half of me is an artist at heart.
