Overview
About Me
Detroit born and raised. Currently living in Kalamazoo and enjoying it for the most part. Working a day job while I chase new passions and technologies. Travelling and getting politically active when I can.
#feelthebern
Dog and cat (and snake) friendly when it comes to places to stay. As for my place, the building is sadly, pet-free or I would have a horde of Shibas swarming my apartment.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it's the best thing ever and one of the ways the internet is changing humanity?
I love hosting people from around the globe. So far I've hosted a young woman traveling cross country by bicycle, a disc golfing pro and a troupe of German ballet students as well as a few others. I always enjoy getting to hear people's stories.
I also do a few geeky conventions year-round and enjoy using Couchsurfing to save some money and make new friends, which is also a fine excuse to cook or shoot the shit about why "Batman uber alles" over a glass of wine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling across Japan for a few weeks or making a ring for a former cast member of Star Trek: TNG.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm slowly learning Spanish so if anyone wants to help me practice, I'm open to that.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've been told I'm a very good cook and as long as I have access to a grocery store I'd be willing to cook for both guests and hosts. It will keep me in practice.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, Costa Rica, Japan
