Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i occassionally like to wander. i dont have a fancy job that allows me to stay in hotels, nor does that seem as interesting as meeting locals. someday i might have a place to myself and can host other wanderers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i almost died hiking through the olympic mountain range in early may when there was 15ft of snow which the 65degree heat was rapidly melting, and i could hear little rivers flowing underneath me. also i nearly got lost, traversed a very steep snowy mountainside, holding onto roots and shrubs, and nearly soaked my sleeping bag by falling in a creek. it was one of the most invigorating days of my life.

i am a professional calm person, attempting to learn how to be more exciting. i do this by doing cool things and surrounding myself with interesting, dynamic people.

i like to cook meals together, share a good conversation, work on whatever language i'm learning at the time, soak up the mountains and the sun.

someday when i have finished experiencing the world, ill retire to a little mountain hut, and welcome weary travelers.
