ABOUT ME

I'm 21 years old. I'm a student studying mechanical engineering in a small college in western Pennsylvania. I'm really not passionate about engineering, but I do enjoy that point when you realize that you really understand something that looked like gibberish to you just weeks (or days) ago. If I could, I would live in a van and drive around the country playing shows with my band.

I think life is all about forming relationships and sharing stories- especially across cultures. I want to make a positive impact in peoples' lives. I love to meet and connect with new people and hope to use couch surfing as a tool to accomplish this.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just spent a semester abroad in Nantes, France, where I discovered the wonders of couch surfing. Now I'm back in the U.S. and willing to host at either my home in Green Lane (an hour outside of Philadelphia) or in my dorm room in Grove City (an hour outside of Pittsburgh).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CouchSurfing has changed my view of traveling. Visiting new places is totally different when you can see or experience a new place alongside someone who really knows it inside and out.

Music: Anything from folk to metal and hardcore. I play guitar in a hardcore band in Philadelphia.

Books and Movies: Anything that gets your heart and mind moving.

I always feel as though I don't have time for a good book or movie. I need to work on this.
