One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have ever done is join an AmeriCorps program called City Year. I worked in Boston my first year as a full-time volunteer doing tutoring, mentoring, and running after school programs. My second year in City Year I was on a team that traveled the country doing physical service projects at community centers and schools. Both years were the most incredible years of my life and I owe a lot of who I am now to my experiences in City Year.
