About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I love building relationships across the globe. This is my greatest joy. My love language is service and so helping others is important to how I show up both in friendships and work.
I am an avid outdoor adventurer and enjoy climbing hike peaks, backpacking, long distance cycling and will try all activities once.
Speaking new languages gives me joy unspeakable. I try to learn 50-100 words in a local language.
I care deeply about this planet and work to find ways to live sustainably and advocate for change within my communities.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I grew up in a home where we always had guests who became an integral part of our family. I believe a place is only as good as the people you meet in it. Otherwise, a city is just a city. As a child who was born in the US, grew up in Bangkok and has lived in Africa and worked globally, creating a family and community in each of these places has been critical to feeling at home. In the same way, I'd love to enter other people's communities as well as invite people into mine.
Interests
I am obsessed with international Football. I've followed Liverpool since the age of 12. I love cooking and hosting (brunch is my specialty) and can make a decent Thai curry, pad thai, and quiche. I like bringing people together over a good meal. I'm a huge snacker and have a weakness for street food. Nothing makes me happier than being outdoors. I recently had the pleasure of starting el camino and walking 4 days through the Pyrenees and Northern Spain. And I love art - I see places through color and love drawing pastels.
