I grew up in New Delhi in a central neighbourhood , a bungalow situated in a quite area of Delhi - Sunder Nagar ! I am an avid traveler, have visited several countries and have met some fabulous people.I have also traveled extensively within in my own country . I love my country and and it's people.I have a passion for trying good food and and visiting new restaurants. My choice is never a fancy 5 star but somewhere, where I can have an authentic meal and meet authentic people. I like to collect Vintage cars and scooters.Love the out doors and also enjoy my drink . I guess I am in general , a happy person and love my life.I have lived in the US and Canada and also have a house in Canada.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

meeting new persons from different parts of the world is very exciting for me. Being a traveller ... I have had the opportunity to make many friends. I want to showcase my beautiful culture and my city to the travellers ....
and off course get to know them....and their culture ....

My interests are many, travelling being one of the big ones ! I like to collect vintage cars and antiques. Can tell you many stories behind my collections.Love to take my dog (Chihuahua) for a walk at the Lodi Gardens ( a 500 year old historical park near my house ) , try out new restaurants / cuisines , love to swim and hang out with my friends..having beers....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I lived in New York...
I was coming back home on the Subway (metro), one evening, when my stop came and the door opened...
I saw this guy, who was literally in my face and he said ....
' hey Mann yoo gaat a daallar far me ? '
I immediately knew that it was not just a dollar he was looking for and the situation was dangerous.
As I had cash in my pocket, I had to react quickly.
So I said, "no maan yoo got one for me ?' and repeated a few times...
"hey , give me a dollar man'
He got pissed off ...
It was reverse psychology !
Lasted only for a minute...
he cursed me and left me alone...
I ran as fast as I could .
I think I saved my life and my money that day ! Ha ha !
