About Me

!PLEASE READ MY HOME SECTION!

I'm a very spontaneous often a little disorganized fellow who loves our beautiful planet and its people. I think we're all incredibly lucky that there is a place so beautiful like our mother earth in this huge dark universe that we can call our home. And I try to reduce my part on her destruction as much as I can. (I wrote that after flying from Germany to Iran so I'm not really good at that so far) Sometimes I'm pretty direct and straight forward but I'm a very polite person and I never want to offend anybody. I just like to know what I'm dealing with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to find out how life is for you all around our beautiful planet. What are your wishes, your dreams, your stories, what are you struggling with in your daily life. I think couchsurfing is the best if not the only way to do so.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read Illuminatus by Robert Shea and Robert A. Wilson in 2013 while travelling through Indonesia. It changed my mind and affects me since.
I'm pretty open minded music wise but I mostly listen to chilled hip-hop, blues, psychedelic rock and electro like Blu, Oddisee, Souls Of Mischief, The Streets, early Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, Tame Impala, Tycho. I also love guitar music like Andy McKee, John Butler and Shakey Graves (no idea what his genre is though).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two weeks in Iran (felt like two months)
Climbing Gunung Rinjani on Lombok, Indonesia
A four month road trip through the Australian bush in WA, NT and Queensland driving 21000 km on gravel roads and 4wd tracks
... (to be continued)
