I've been teaching English as a Second Language in Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos (mostly in rural and mountainous areas) for most of the past 10 years and will return to the Houston area of Texas, US in June 2023 for 5 days for chiropractic treatment.

Before teaching in Southeast Asia, I was doing teaching, publishing, and social work in healthcare, HIV education, and with the elderly in Arizona, California and Hawai'i. I enjoy meeting all kinds of people from all kinds of places. Non-smoker. Cat allergy. Don't drink much at all. Love helping people achieve their dreams with the skills I can share.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My immediate need is to find a five-night stay near Sugar Land, Texas, US for a doctor's visit starting June 16, 2023. Getting a late night pick-up from the airport after 34 hours of travel from Cambodia would be amazing. I'm quite willing to help out with funds for expenses.
