Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couchsurfing because in my experience, the people I've meet through my travels have formed some of my favorite memories. I love getting to know new people and sharing our cultures, and stories, with each other. In high school, when I traveled across the U.S. with a singing group, we stayed in "host homes" every night. From this, I have learned just how awesome it is to couchsurf.

Interests

I love painting, playing guitar and ukulele, science, reading, watching movies (product of working at a movie theater), and traveling. Since I'm also very interested in medicine and health care, I hope to do medical mission work abroad as a nurse. My greatest passion is to serve others.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to 50's music because it's just so cheery, as well as alternative and indie folk. My favorite books include lots of nerdy series and dystopian YA books, like Harry Potter. I also love Lord of the Rings, Sherlock, The Martian, Interstellar, and everything Disney.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swam with sharks in the Great Barrier Reef while doing my advanced open water scuba diving certification.
