Hmmm, my nickname is Lucy (From I Love Lucy), as I seem to always be into something. I love animals. Have 2 cats and just rescued our third Border Collie-our home is quite the zoo. I have a severe dark chocolate addiction, but I am okay with that. I love to write-not published but one year our Christmas newsletter was 6 pages-I did get good feedback, but when your Christmas card needs extra postage-you may have issues. Being a mom is not for sissies, my motto...well, that and Mean people suck, and Kindness Matters . Love movies-rom-coms and thrillers and documentaries. I love not camping, cold Miller Lite, and anything healthy. Yoga is a must, as is driving a convertible. Bumper Sticker: I can tell people are judgmental just by looking at them :) Love Traveling and watching my girls play soccer and compete in CrossFit competitions, and meeting new people that I would probably of never met otherwise.....I love being a mom-hearing about new things my girls have discovered, having them share their insights, and watching them clean their room.
Ronnie and I have been married for almost 30 years and so far so good :)...He is my best friend, partner in crime and can make me laugh more than anyone in the world. He is kind, sexy, funny, smart, generous, loves God and is THE best dad-ever!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Besides given birth.....hmmmmm, Traveled the country with my 20 year old daughter last summer in my little black convertible. (40 days)...Started in Roanoke, Va and headed west. Hit the Pacific and headed north up the PCH, then hit San Fran and headed east-stopped in Wisc. for a family reunion, then headed south through Chicago and then home...had a BLAST. We kinda went day by day. Wish I had known about this site then! Met some great people though, had the time of our lives!!
Our family started with a couple of letters and it grew into us sending over 20 lbs of "Love Letters" to Paris after the terrorist attacks on 11-13-15...it was such a Blessing to see people, from all over, reach out to others...our first couch surfer, Frenchie, handed them out for us...how cool is this site!!
Opening up our home, family to strangers....so many wonderful loving people out there!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Be Kind. Don't judge others just because they are different. Learn from other people, especially senior citizens...they know their stuff. Respect others,
floss daily, rescue a dog/cat, listen to music that makes you feel good, sing at the top of your lungs when driving with the top down, wave to people in other cars, share what you have been blessed with, eat lollipops, grow something, watch sunrises and sunsets when you can, find some form of exercise that you love and do it daily, say hello to people when you walk past, when you see a soldier in uniform-give them a hug, tell people thank you, eat healthy stuff-you will feel better, and finally, drink lots of water, every day, all day long..and smile :)
