About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Finding like-minded people, expanding my horizon .

ABOUT ME
I'm an easy person to be around. I'm friendly, open-minded and I always try to see the best in people. Maybe a bit quiet at first, but that has never stopped from pushing my limits and getting of my comfort zone. One example is that I recently found the courage to quit my job and start my own business.

There are a lot of contradictions in my personality. I can be quiet and shy at one time, or dance on the table the next. So, there is a bit of wild side beneath the surface :-).

Also, I'm a bit of a female geek.

PHILOSOPHY
Be authentic, think for yourself and live your own life. Don't judge others, you don't know their story. Do good and good will come to you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm not really a globetrotter, but nonetheless, I have an adventorous mindset and am open to new experiences and meeting new people. Currently, I'm mostly looking for small breaks and getaways from day-to-day life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet, but hoping to get some soon :-). Everybody has to start somewhere.

Interests

I have a broad range of interests. I'm very curious and I like to try new things, so I don't really have one hobby.

I love running, yoga, reading books, meeting friends for food and drinks, having good conversations.

Besides that I'm volunteering as a coach for CoderDojo, which a global movement that organizes free workshops that teaches kids programming skills.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music
I have a very broad interest in music. I can go from techno to metal and everything in between, although I don't really like things that are too commercial. I love festivals where I can shake my ass off :-).

Books
I love reading. I love books 'with a twist', in which the ending is not too obvious.

Movies
I'm not really a movie watchers, although I enjoy a romcom together with my plaid now and then.

Teach, Learn, Share

I volunteer for CoderDojo, that organizes free classes to teach kids basic programming skills. We also try to create more awereness so that young people would choose a career in technology.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm from the land of chocolate, so I can bring you lots of it :-).
