About Me

CURRENT MISSION

get to know other cultures and further broaden my horizon

ABOUT ME

I've worked and traveled a lot. I tried to make the most out of every trip, get to know as many different cultures as possible and learn some languages on the way.

Getting to know a culture means making local friends, learn some basics of the local language, try local food, share my knowledge and experiences with others and learn new skills and information - by myself and by others - on that way.

PHILOSOPHY

I think life is too multisided to willingly experience only one Culture instead of sharing one's culture and get to know and accept another's!
Every culture and every Individual is unique and instead of supporting, believing and spreading prejudices one should rather experience, accept and understand the foreign for himself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by offering a couch. Furthermore I plan to work in the sustainable tourism sector after my studies, to help make the world a better place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Experienced the limits of my physical- and mindstrength after 60 to 90 hours of work a week, for a period of several months (more than a year) with barely having a day off.

finished my emergency first response, search and recovery and rescue diver course... it's good to know that one's training might one day make a difference when saving someones life.

Dived with sharks in 50 metre depth and it was beautiful!

walked the Philippines' Jungle only in Shorts and spotted 1,5metre Varans :)

Got to know amazing people all over the world
