Resumen
Sobre mí
I live with my fiance and our cat in a little 400 sq ft apartment. I go to school full time, work full time, and love life full time!
I adore traveling and experiencing new places but have limited resources to do so. When I was 16 with the help of my first job, family and careful planning I went on a 3 week trip to western Europe visiting England, Belgium, Wales, Ireland, The Netherlands, and France. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life, but it was extremely guided, planned, and touristy. I seek adventures at my own pace and have aimed to have my vacations and adventures to be less tourist, more exploring.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I want to see the world with my fiance, which he has not really seen! I want to show him experiences and not cookie-cutter "vacations". I hope couchsurfing can help me accomplish this goal and we can meet new people from around the world!!

Música, películas y libros
Music- all, depending on my mood. I enjoy classic style music just as much as today's pop/ top hit music.
Movies- Anything Batman, I am a Batman enthusiast.
Also, movies that make you think outside the box, my fiance and I love to try and figure out who the bad guy is and what is going to happen.
My favorite book of all time is Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life. I read it when I was 9 and have told everyone I encountered since then that it is my favorite book. I should probably read it again sometime, but for now, I'm sticking with it.
Algo increíble que he hecho
Surpass expectations consistently.
just kidding
One time while in Europe the group that I was in did an activity where you use your hand to chop a piece of wood in half. We spent the day talking about inner strength and confidence and did other activities as well. When we got to the wood chopping activity I volunteered to go first and successfully chopped through the board.
My nervous friend followed me and did not successfully chop through the board, the amazing thing I did, was to start clapping for her anyway. I cheered my head off while everyone looked at me, and I told her" I'm cheering because you were brave enough to get in front of 70+ people you don't know and throw your little hand at a piece of wood, and you did it confidently!!!! That in itself is amazing!!" everyone else cheered, she tried again and succeeded, and the look of accomplishment and happiness on her face has stuck with me ever since.
It has encouraged me to be kind and lift others up rather than bring them down.
