Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best way to experience new places and food is not by checking in to a fancy hotel and going on guided tours but to experience it through the eyes of locals and/or natives and paying it forward.

Interests

I love surfing (with waves). I got into bouldering/rock climbing 10 yrs ago and competed. I have a passion for cooking and studied culinary. I love traveling, seeing cool places and experiencing different cultures, meeting different people, trying different food, going on surfing trips, riding my motorcycle, and a glass of 15 year old Scotch Whiskey!

I've been to war, got shot at and shot back, and saved 4 lives. I put my younger sister through med school and now she is a doctor as well.
