Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always dreamed of going to Europe, but now that I am here I've realized that the only way to really get to know a city is to live like a local! I am just as interested in seeing the sights as learning how to cook a local dish. I love going off the beaten path, especially in search of good food!

Interests

I love hiking and being outside! While I am not very good yet, I really enjoy cooking and baking. I enjoy good tea and am trying to learn more about coffee. I can't have a pet of my own while I am a student, so I also enjoy pet-sitting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've assisted in research on dolphins, seals, otters, pika, sparrows, and ants. I just need to find some reptiles to help research and I'll feel pretty well-rounded!

I would love to learn about your culture! Please teach me how to cook traditional food and family recipes, where to buy the best chai tea, how to use local transportation, and anything else that is important to you. If you're willing to share, I'm more than willing to listen!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my mom's pumpkin bread recipe, good conversation, and some great hiking spots in California!

I can also teach you how to do two pretty good card tricks.
