About Me
Hey there! I just got home from an 8 month cycling trip, from my hometown in netherlands to Shanghai! I'm settling back in and ready to welcome fellow travellers into my humble home:)
During all my travels i have been lucky enough to receive countless acts of kindness and I've met the most wonderful people. The world is so small and it is so easy to make it a great and friendly place for the people we cross paths with, so i say, let's focus on that!
I've got so many favors to return and I'm happy to share my home/story/ city with you and im curious about yours!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
On a holiday in Egypt I met a couple who told me about couchsurfing, I got enthousiastic and I decided to try it for my next holiday in Norway! After that i had some more cool expierences as a surfer and host. Now i cannot think of a more interesting way of traveling:))
Interests
I love cycling (especially travelling by bicycle), running and hiking. At home i play piano, spend a lot of time with my friends, go running, love cooking (and eating:)) When I have the time and can find the peace of mind I can enjoy a good book. I can be a little restless though so that doesn't happen often:) There isn't a day that goes by without music in my life. Depending on my mood i can enjoy pretty much anything. Favourite song must be mother of pearl by roxy music. Oh, and I'm usually up for a nice party:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Cycling from Perth to sydney via adelaide, great ocean road and melbourne. 4920 km of hard work, burning sun, pouring rain, kangaroos, snakes, remoteness, awesome people, spiders, wombats, emu's, wedgetail eagles, wicked other birds and corky roadhouses. Worth every ache/ tear and marchfly on my face.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would be happy to cook for you, have a nice talk, share stories or when we're in the mood: start a party somewhere!
