Overview
About Me
I am an optimistic, confident and outgoing person who is more passionate about science. I see it as the discipline for exploring the unknown and understanding how things work. My interests are not just restricted to life science but also astrophysics, history, spiritual subjects etc. and I love to have intellectual conversations with my friends.
I did my Btech in Industrial Biotechnology in India and came to the US for higher studies. I completed my Masters in Biotechnology and recently a Ph.D. in Toxicology at Texas AandM University in College Station. I would call myself a spiritual person rather than religious but I'm open to any religion and I live take-life-as-it-comes approach.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I came across this platform very recently, and I was impressed by the opportunity it creates to meet and mingle with people from around the world and become friends irrespective of the religion, culture, and customs. I have hosted many people at my place in the past but they are mostly students. In the last few years, I have lived in a small world with my focus only on my research and my dreams of traveling remaining dormant. I feel Couchsurfing is an amazing platform to meet interesting people, share experiences and knowledge, and to build connections in one's own local community as well as globally!

What I Can Share with Hosts
Definitely a warm friendship! A conversation about the rich traditions, culture, and lifestyle of my native place probably with a hot cup of coffee and maybe about my life to add a flavor if still, the ears were open! And if raw materials were available, dishes like sambar, chutney or any other south Indian cuisine will be served at the dinner table for my host with lots of love:)
