À propos de moi
To inspire others to be creative in everything they do.
I'm a fiber artist and costume maker. I make my money by doing henna tattoos in New Orleans and it's amazing. I co-founded a New Orleans based performance art collective called Corrijeune, which i design/ create costumes for and perform with. Playing dress-up is my passion.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I've only had good experiences couchsurfing, i feel so lucky to have met the wonderful people i've met traveling and hosting.
I am NOT on couchsurfing to find romantic encounters in any way. I repeat, do NOT message me or accept my couch request if your intentions are anything besides meeting a new friend and hosting for the sake of having fun and helping out a fellow traveler.
I like making art and meeting new people and making art with new people.
Very very into performance art, and costume making. I also love to create immersive installations....knitting and crocheting things, painting on canvas, collecting things, arranging things I've collected, drawing on things in public, dumpster diving, cooking, going to museums and galleries, exploring new places, exploring old places, building forts, riding bikes, listening to tapes, staying up all night, drinking coffee and drawing pictures. I like to feel alive. And I feel most alive when I'm creative and free.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I love listening to NTS radio. I love Rnb, hip hop, Cumbia, and soul in general, and more specifically i love iranian pop music, Molam and Luk Thung Isan music, and ethiopian jazz.
I read all the time. Lately i've enjoyed reading Johann Hari's stuff, i love Herman Hesse and Haruki Murikami, i like reading about people, philosophy, spiritual beliefs, anthropology...almost anything!
As for film, here's a few of my favorite directors off the top of my head: Werner Herzog, Alejandro Jodorowski, Wong Kar Wai, Leos Carax, and Matthew Barney. I have a thing for slow "artsy" film, and i love a good documentary.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
How could i choose just one?! I've been to the Grand Palace in Beijing China, I've made music with my soul brothers and sisters, I've chosen painting over sleep(most of the time), i've seen the reclining Buddha in Thailand, i've done graffiti pieces, i've visited the deep depths of extreme depression as well as the beautiful highs of pure happiness and contentedness, I've danced from sundown to sunup...
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I'm excited to learn anything that someone else is excited about sharing.
I'm always down to make art with other people. It's my favorite thing to do...it's basically all i do! So lets collaborate and create new ideas.
Some things I could teach is almost any fiber art( felting, knitting, crochet, weaving), belly dance, henna tattooing, stick n poke tattooing, some visual art skills probably. I also know a bit about wild fermentation and baking....
