Overview
About Me
I moved to Minneapolis in the summer of 2015 to attend the University of Minnesota and get a license to teach English as a second language. I wanted to "follow my passion" and "make a difference." It turns out, though, that I'd rather punch a clock, bust my ass all day, clock out, and not have to deal with the anxiety and stress of lesson plans, bureaucracy, pain in the ass kids, and shitty parents. So I just started a new career path as an electrician apprentice and expect to stick around the Twin Cities at least 5 years until I become a journeyman. And hopefully find a good woman who enjoys couples' dancing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My roommate in Tennessee, Calvin Cassady, hosted travelers when we lived together. I thought it was really fun taking foreigners out to go drinking and dancing at my favorite bars.
I've never surfed, but I'd like to someday. So it seems only fair for me to offer up my couch as well.
