I love to just hang out, and chill. Having a beer with a few friends in a charming café sound really good to me. No need to take me out clubbing, it kind of hurts my ears too :-)
Discovering new places, being in nature, and getting off the beaten path are definitely on my favourite list.
I really appreciate the different kinds of 'beauty' and 'art' that life has to offer: the details of nature, the constructions made by man, the behaviour of people ,...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up, because a friend had told me about it, when I was preparing to go travel round the world for a year.
The interactions with local people is what really drew me in.

Couchsurfing has definitely made my travels a lot richer. People have told me about life in their area, showed me places I would have never thought of going, made me try things I would have never tried otherwise...
In the end, the people is really what a place is all about.
and it makes me experience traveling in a totally different way.

Interests

I love skateboarding, made me see the world through different eyes...
Unfortunately, I had to give it up because of lasting injuries. Which eventually got me into cycling. Absolutely love doing that now!

I like Japanese (racing) cars. I'm a big Honda fan.
I've been a car mecanic for a few years because I really like the technology behind it.

Basically anything that triggers emotion in me ;-)

To give 1 example: The LOTR track "The Bridge of Kazhad Dum" at the point where the woman with the high voice starts to sing, gives me goosebumps every time!

You can teach me anything you want!! I love to learn about people's lives in general.
