About Me

Hi everyone!
My name is Konstantins Jaunzems and i'm friendly guy from a small country in Baltics - Latvia. Love hiking and spending time by the sea.
Trying to travel, but it's quite hard to do with my everyday job. So i try to take every opportunity i have to go somewhere new!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, let's be honest - i'm not the richest guy on the planet or even in my own country. Plus i love meeting good people. So the couchsurfing combines those two factors for me)

Interests

I love paintings, but i'm a bad painter. So my place to chill are art galleries.
Besides that - i enjoy hiking, cycling and spending time alone or with people i love.
I love challenging sports, but not team sports or any sports where i need to beat someone. My kind of sports challenge only me - climbing, marathon running or ironman challenges. I can't imagine myself without a coffee or a music in my head, so i listen to music everywhere i go.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love folk rock and opera. But i do listen to all kind of music. Mostly if you can relate to these 3 : Ben Howard, Alt-J, Damien Rice - we will be best friends. If not, don't get sad - i'm opened to everything new and old. And we will certainly find some beautiful music that suits us.
My favorite movie is The Fountain...well maybe not the best movie out there, but it has its own magic. And the music is too damn beautiful.
Books: Murakami, Donna Tart, Carlos Ruiz Zafon, Terry Pratchett, Niel Gaiman, Kafka, Hemingway...and a lots more

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saved the dog, and now we are living together for 3 years now.
Sure i went to lots of places, even climbed Altai mountains, but still saving dog was the most amazing thing in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share
