My name is Kotaro.
I am 22 years old and working at Italian restaurant in Japan. I'm interested in world food
cultures and decided to travel the world.
This is my first major trip abroad. I am excited about the unknown world that I have yet to see.
I’m traveling around the world now.
I’m good at finding hints for a rich life in various cultures.
By experiencing interesting cultures and people’s lives around the world, I intend to decide how I will live my life in the future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is because I want to gain a deeper understanding of the regions and cultures of the world through exchange.
I’m traveling around the world for a year and cannot stay in one region for a long time.
I believe that in order to promote understanding of a region during a short stay, it is very important to interact with the local people.
By couchsurfing, I would like to understand the local culture and common sense and make my trip more educational.
I also believe that Japanese culture and cuisine are topics that can be shared.
I would like to have a good time with my hosts and make my stay a learning experience for both of us!
