I just graduated from college in May 2015. Before I settle down anywhere, I really want to take the opportunity to travel. Instead of searching for a job (as most college graduates are), I'm just searching for fun and adventure. Eventually, I plan on moving to Chicago to pursue a career in comedy. Until then, I'm looking for new friends and new places.

I'm hoping that by couchsurfing I'll get to meet people I never would have otherwise. I've been bartending in my hometown for a few years, and I've made so many incredible friends--both young and old. I feel so fortunate to have met these people and that I get to carry these unforgettable experiences with me, but I'm getting tired of living in my hometown. I've always had an outgoing personality, so I want to see where that takes me when I step outside of my comfort zone.

During my travels I plan to hit up as many of the national parks as I can. I went to Yellowstone in October with my college roommate and her family, and ever since then I've been hooked on the idea of seeing and experiencing as many as possible. I've always loved the outdoors and I'm a pretty avid hiker, so getting the chance to do this is important to me. It was also something my grandfather wanted me to do (he passed away last summer) so I'm hoping to fulfill some of his wishes as well by exploring.

I've also been doing comedy for a little over two years now, and I'm hoping to meet and collaborate with other comedians. When I was still in college, I joined the stand-up club and it felt great to have so many people to work on projects with and go to open mics together. After some hard work, I even got accepted into the comedy studies program at The Second City and had the opportunity to live and perform in Chicago for a few months. Now that I'm back home in small town Pennsylvania, I don't have much of an outlet for comedy anymore. When I'm not out exploring or hiking, I want to be going to comedy shows and meeting up with comedians in the city.

Intereses

Stand-up comedy, hiking, writing, drawing and painting. I'm also a wine fanatic (so if you hang out with me, I will probably be sharing a bottle of wine with you)
