I live on Maui and would love to spend more time exploring the other islands.

I love to hike, explore, and be out in nature. I play Celtic fiddle and enjoy Latin dancing (salsa/ bachata).

I live about half an hour from the airport and the nearest beach, halfway up the volcano. You would need a car to get here and to go on excursions, as I work as a teacher during the day. There is one very sweet dog who lives with me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of travelers hosting other travelers. It feels good to know people are hosting because of their love of meeting people and sharing their home, rather than for financial gain. It seems like a great way to make new friends all over the world!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My father and I went to Cambodia for his 75th birthday. One of the most memorable parts was staying with a community of forest monks whose leader had been recognized by the UN for his environmental activism work.
