About Me

Hello, I´ve been a couchsurfing member since more than 6 years but unfortunately I can´t get to my old account. I hosted and also was hosted by many nice people, especially during Work and Travel Program in USA. If you want to check more about me you can find me on FB as well :)

I love:
✈️love traveling
💃Salsa and Bachata
👅learning new languages
👪learning about other people, their culture, behaviors and their different point of views
💬having meaningful discussions
📙 books (pyschology, teamwork, books based on true-story, self-help books)
🙋volunteering
🌇hiking and adventures
🍴food, cooking, studying about its effect on health (I´m trying to cook and eat vegan - still a beginner)
📅going for interesting events (e.g. where I can learn something new)

Even though I come from a small village in Slovakia, I´ve moved a lot since I was 14 and I consider myself a global citizen. I feel home everywhere. That´s why I studied Management of culture and tourism. During my studies I also volunteered and then worked full-time in a global NGO; that´s why I love multiculturalism, learning about people and teamwork.

I decided to move to Vienna because even though I feel home everywhere, I started to miss to have one place where I always can come back to = my base. I felt little lost so I decided to build my own place to live in Vienna -the city is connected with the whole world (multicultural city and an airport with many connections). I still don´t know if I am able to settle because of my ´´nomad" lifestyle, but you never know till you try. Settling down means different things for different people. So let´s see how my ´´settle down" is gonna look like :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I moved to Vienna because of a new job in September 2019 and would like to get to know new people who I can go dancing salsa with, do some trips (in Austria or abroad; the airport is connected to the whole world :-) ), have meaningful discussions and fun.
