I love to travel and see the world and meet new people and learn their perspectives on life, the universe, and everything. I read too much, sing too loudly, and smile at inappropriate times.

J'adore voyager pour faire la découverte du monde et pour rencontrer les gens. Tout le monde a un avis et une pointe de vue différente et j'aime bien apprendre ce qu'ils pensent et pourquoi. Je lis trop, je chante trop fort, et je souris quand il ne faut pas sourire.

I read, listen to music, play music, plan voyages and try to stay in touch with those I couldn't fit in my suitcase.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I saw the Parthenon resonated with me because it was the first time I really felt how long civilization has been around.
One beautiful day in Riquewihr, Alsace, France, my study abroad group and I climbed a hill in a vineyard and were able to see for miles around us. What we saw was the most perfect French countryside, and because we experienced it all together, it's an even stronger memory for me.
At the end of a musical that I saw in San Francisco, CA, the cast members called for the audience to sing "White Christmas" with them (that was the name of the musical), and then false snow fell from the ceiling as 500 people joined together to sing this holiday tune. It sent shivers down my spine.

La première fois que j'ai vu le Parthenon en Greece, il m'a rendu tellement stupéfaite parce que je pouvais vraiment me sentir la durée de la civilization humaine.
Une fois, j'étais à Riquewihr, Alsace avec mes copains de l'université. Comme il faisait très beau, on est monté une petite colline dans un vignoble où on pouvait voir le joli paysage autour de nous pour des kilomètres. Ça nous a vraiment impressionné.
À la fin d'une comédie musicale que j'ai regardé à San Francisco, CA, les acteurs ont fait chanter le public pour la dernière chanson, "White Christmas," et quand tout le monde a chanté et une neige fausse est tombée du plafond, c'était magnifique.
