ABOUT ME

I like to spend time with my husband, family, and friends and for hobbies I travel, do yoga, hike, bike, dance, cook, garden, write, and read. I am a vegetarian (lacto-ovo, so eat dairy products). I do not smoke and do not drink alcohol.

PHILOSOPHY

I am spiritual but not religious. I derive joy from learning about a variety of topics and hearing other people's stories.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm relatively new to couchsurfing. I am interested in attending couchsurfing events, couchsurfing, and meeting people for coffee/travel tips.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed for a couple of nights while visiting Croatia (fall 2011). I've also attended a few CouchSurfing events (a German language practice and a couple of garden tours) in Vienna, Austria during the fall of 2011. I couchsurfed two nights in Fort Collins, CO in fall 2012.

Getting to see the wildlife in Australia was pretty amazing, especially the flocks of wild parrots such as rainbow lorikeets.
