About Me

I've just landed in Japan after living in Honolulu, HI for the last year. I plan to explore this lovely country and visit as many onsens as possible! (:

CURRENT MISSION

Explore Japan and visit as many onsens as I can. Spend time in nature and make new connections.

ABOUT ME

I've tried a LOT of different things and am now at a new crossroads in life. So currently enjoying the experience of meeting new people and being surprised by their unique approach to life.

Life for me so far has felt mostly like a grand experiment, and I've found that it's the most fun when I take a curious approach to it, reveling in the inherently playful nature of this journey.

My goal is financial independence, and i'm not there yet. (: But am enjoying figuring it out!

I've been getting more and more experience riding my motorcycle, and i can probably help you run better.

Barefooting rocks right now.

Oh, and i dance.

PHILOSOPHY

Honesty is valuable.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

AWESOME. I've met some amazing and inspiring people. Also, i got my hash house harrier virginity taken away from me while couchsurfing, so what more can i ask for?

I've found that some of the most fascinating people who really have that zest for life have been people i've met through couchsurfing. It keeps me coming back.

Plus I'm a big giver, and I especially love giving to givers and making sure they feel seen, acknowledged, and respected for what i consider to be their very sacred generosity. And CS seems to be full of givers, so what a wonderful place for me to do what i do best!

Interests

Freediving, unusual therapeutic modalities, art, foreign films, hot springs.

I thoroughly enjoy getting to be on the inside of intimate and special moments, like getting to participate in the no-pants subway rides, or the living room dance parties, or night hikes under the moon, or any of the other magical experiences that are available in this world.

And neat hikes with water involved at some point. swimming hole hikes are the best!

Music, Movies, and Books

TV shows= the magicians, Rick and Morty, Fleabag, the list got big during the pandemic, The Queen's Gambit, Sense8

Movies=Moonrise Kingdom, Django Unchained, Logan, Get Out, V for Vendetta, Cloud Atlas, I like the movies that dare to be brave and speak out about something meaningful.

Music=electro dance music, GirlTalk, Lady Gaga, Lana Del Rey, Lupe Fiasco, Jazz, Classical, I dunno, I like a lot of stuff!

Books=Edward Abbey, Brad Blanton, LOTR, Game of Thrones

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I helped rescue a pelican while working as an EMT in Santa Monica. Just another day on the job!

I got to set up a book promotion for my favorite author, Brad Blanton to promote his new books. He wrote Radical Honesty which is a life changer! Then we went for a nice walk on the beach the following morning. (Update, got to visit him in Virginia and stay with him for almost 3 weeks!)

I got to volunteer at the only trauma hospital in Haiti for a month.

I got to see where Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed!

3 month road trip across the USA. Time of my life.

I've gone down 66ft underwater on one breath of air.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to run better. Also, i can teach you how to make a mean green smoothie. Plus, I can teach you how to improve your massage and bodywork skills.
I can also help you navigate interpersonal communication and how to be with someone in conflict.

Also, if you're stuck in some area of your life, I may have useful information for you, thanks to my own crazy life i've lived.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love helping out with dishes when people cook, and I generally leave a kitchen cleaner than I found it.
I'm strong and can help you rearrange furniture. I'm also smart and can help you with problems you've got!
Plus, my breakfast skills are pretty solid.
