Czech girl optimistic coffeelover dreamer introvert foodlover independent traveller enthusiastic baker lazy bones flegmatic positive news editor explorer Christmas fan grammar nazi HI THERE! Just before we start, there are 2 important things you should know about me: 1) I’m pretty independent traveller and I like to explore things on my own, not follow the guides, get lost in the streets etc. Doesn’t mean I wouldn’t appreciate a local guide, I just wouldn’t want to spend all the time with you. 2) I’m a HUGE introvert. But I am also very friendly and I like to leave my comfort zone, so don’t expect me being quiet and nervous. Just don’t be surprised if I want to spend some time on my own or need some privacy. I think we as human are supposed to respect each other. If you don’t respect this or just don’t think it’s OK for you, I kindly ask you to decline my request. Thank you :)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I want to take every opportunity world offers me. I finally decided not to sit on my couch anymore and try a couch of somebody else! I want to see and visit as much as possible. I want to meet new people and learn about their cultures and listen to their life stories. And I definitely want to visit some nice cafés in a different countries :) I'm sure you can help me with my mission. I would really like to host somebody as I like the whole couchsurfing experience and would like to return other people's hospitality. Unfortunately it's not really possible for me now, but I'll pay my debt one day :) ! I'm quite independent and low cost traveller. I probably will not want to spend whole day with you (I'm also introvert) or go for a dinner to an expensive restaurant - please be aware of that before you confirm my request. It doesn't mean I don't want to meet you and share some time with you though. ! I've been hosted 8 times so far: Dublin (2 nights) Dublin (2 nights) Cambridge (1 night) Brighton (1 night) Edinburgh (1 night, with my brother) Glasgow (1 night, with my brother) Berlin (1 night, with my mum) London (1 night)
Music, Movies, and Books
Some of my favourite books are: Harry Potter series, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, How To Be a Woman, Animal Farm, Tim Burton's poems, books by Jo Nesbo, Stieg Larsson or Lars Kepler... and plenty more! I like any kinds of music. I quite like Mumford and Sons, Lumineers and Johnny Cash right now. I also like film music. And movies? There are so many of them! Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Silence of the Lambs, Se7en, Inception or Love Actually :) Obviously I don't have any specific genre that I like.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Amazing pancakes about week ago! Unforgettable! Running half marathon without proper training. Finishing my bachelor degree, as I'm a terrible student. Moving to England. ... That's not really one, is it?
Teach, Learn, Share
It'll be my pleasure to teach you some Czech words and have fun while listening to you trying to pronounce them :) I'll be happy to share some facts about my country as well as about me. And I'm sure we'll find something else!
What I Can Share With Hosts
I'll be happy to bring some yummy homemade biscuits/piece of cake (I usually bring a yummy brownies). Besides that I can share anything I know (which is not much though) :)
My Interests
I have so many things I like to do! One of my biggest now is exploring cafés everywhere as I'm dreaming about opening my own one in a few years. I like to get inspiration there, drink nice coffee, relax, read a book... and eat a yummy cake! I also like to bake these yummy cakes or do anything connected with food - I like to visit food festivals and I'm trying to learn some cooking just now. What else? Movies, series, books, theatre, exhibitons, local events, singing, writing, taking pictures, making videos, spending time with my friends or with children or staying in bed whole day - sometimes :) There's always something to do.
