Overview
About Me
Hello everybody!
I'm Dominik, I'm a university student at the faculty of Languages and Literatures in Udine (Italy). I was raised in Romania but came to Italy when I was 3, joining my parents. We live now in the "City of Love": Verona.
I'm a travel addicted, I like to do trekking and go for wild escursions with friends.
I like to travel alone because I think it gives me a wider range of opportunities in knowing new people and experiencing situations in a deepest way.
I hace up my temporary job in Turin and decided to "live the dream" of an on the road journey around Central and South America!
I love getting to know new friends mostly from different cultures and share passions or sports and art interests! :)
Can't wait to get to know each other!!
[ESP]
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
First because I love helping other travellers as much as I can (I do believe in Karma) and second to have a chance to travel cheaply. But most of all because of the large amount of friends you make all-over the world!
Interests
Currently I'm learning the basics of video making and the editing process with the aim of develop new skills and cultivate this brand new passion I've discovered recently. Though I still consider myself an "amateur", I've already shoot some music event video. To be honest my dream is to record audio/video material from my next trip around LatinAmerica, and realize a short documentary once got back here in Italy.
I'm learning Juggling basics with balls and clubs because it fascinates me the way you can "teach" your brain but, of course, because it's funny!
I also love to do slacklining and stay in good shape . I'm a curious person who loves facing new challanges and get involved in social activism. Moreover I love cooking and experiment new plates, as long as they're compleately vegan.
I have a vegan lifestyle because I do believe that us, as part of the whole system, are committed to respect and live in peace and balance with the environment which gives us food, shelter and resources, and with all the species in the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm afraid the space given here is too short for all my interest to fit, however I read both for pleasure (novels, stories) and for personal culture. I use to watch movies but not TV series (please let me out of this virus!). I like directors such as Quentin Tarantino, Kubrick, Tim Burton and Iñárritu.
My interests in music strech from Roots, Raggae, Dub, American Folk, Italian Folk, World music and balcanic-klezmer to electronic, Drumm 'n bass and why not, even techno sometimes.
To mention the first thing that came to my mind, I remember travelling far and wide trough Andalucia's region in Spain. Hitchhiking, Couchsurfing, discovering new stunning cities (Malaga, Cordoba, Sevilla and Granada) and meeting tons of wonderful people!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd be glad to host you in my place in Verona and show you the city.
I'd also love to share my passion in Juggling with you (learning the basics it's far more easy than you think) or do some slackline together.
We can make meditation sessions together and discuss about everything drinking a cup of tea.
I'd love to learn new recipes and to do exciting sports/activities!
What I Can Share with Hosts
