ABOUT ME

Hi my Name is Karam I was born in Linz, raised in Austria and currently found in Lebanon, Beirut, I am a industry formed and self taught Director with a background in Editing and Animation. Inspired by my families creative background and the variety of cultures I formed an individual style and treat that has an ongoing and never ending hunger for more. My style fuses cinematic imagery with subtle but far reaching narrative storytelling. I have worked for brands such as Red Bull, Q-Tel, Adobe and Lebanese Brew whilst also lecturing at conferences and universities around Lebanon.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is an ever changing belief that can not be manifested and will always transform from one encounter to another. The reason why I live this life, didn't figure that out yet but I guess being good and helping others just makes it a better experience.

Somehow thou I end up helping strangers more than friends.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As of January 2014 I will have my own couch available for people to stay.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

none yet so far, picked up a couple of surfer in Beirut who were supposed to meet someone but that person never showed up so I let them stay over and got to know a bit more about the community.

兴趣

I am into Filmmaking, Animations, Photography outdoors sports such as mountain biking, hiking or just chilling near a tree. I love water and the sea, wish I could breath under water so obviously I am into diving, recently I kind of try to discover a more spiritual side something to bound with. I use the crafts I learned to capture those moments and keep the memories as a trail to lead.
