Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When travelling one of the most interesting and important things is seeing the local culture and getting tips from locals; though sightseeing can be interesting it's not enough for me!

I think Couchsurfing is definitely the best way to do that, and to meet new people and potentially new friends at the same time.

Interests

I love learning languages, which is a big reason to travel. So is history: I'm especially interested in the Middle Ages and the history of the Middle East, above all the Byzantine Empire.

I love beautiful things, and try to find as much joy in my everyday life as I can.

I also enjoy reading both fiction and non-fiction, and doing yoga!

Music, Movies, and Books

It's difficult to pick one of these. I read & watch movies frequently. I try to keep up with the latest ones, and always get something out of everything I see, watch or listen to.

I'm currently reading The Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood.
