Overview
About Me
I'm a PhD student living in Leicester, UK right now. So, I make some science, poke the brains, and try to understand how this whole system works.
P.S. The strange hat on my head (on one of the photos) is so-called hood, in other words chaperon. Historical contraption.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet local people and plunge into the country with the help of their eyes. Not only seeing the country but feeling it as well.
Interests
Reading books, playing tin whistle and learning guitar, science, role-playing games (LARP), archery, travelling, skiing, surfing, snooker, whisky, playing games (board/words/PC/etc).
To be more specific: Heroes of Might&Magic III/ 3.58 and Starcraft - my favorite among PC ones. I used to play World of Warcraft for 5 years on official and now quite nostalgic about this.
Board games: backgammon, chinese checkers, cards, domino, Munchkin alike.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I was galloping on a horse barebacked down the hill and wasn't falling for whole three minutes.
I got lost on the top of the Esya mountain (Reykjavik) in complete dense cloud for 5 hours, but I found the way back.
I survived in Iceland having 50 euros in my pocket for 6 days :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach how to shoot with the bow (if suddenly you don't know how) and how to make some nice coctails.
I hope that sharing interesting stories is the one of my distinctive qualities.
I like to learn, so if there is anything weird (or not really) you want to teach me - I'm opened to a new knowledge.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Leisure, wine and wide smile.
