Hi everyone!

I’ve been on CS for a while now and have experience both as a traveller and as a guide. I really enjoy both :)

A few words about me. These days I work remotely in consulting, focusing on climate change and broader sustainability issues. Earlier in my career I worked in one of the biggest Russian charitable foundations, where I led nationwide cause marketing campaigns to support orphans. I like to think that in different ways, my work helps make the world a little better :) My background also includes teaching English, so we can have meaningful conversations without losing depth in translation.

Alongside my full-time job, I’m also doing a Master’s degree, so life keeps me pretty busy! Even though I don’t have much free time, I try to travel and meet new people whenever I can. If we’re lucky enough to be in the same place at the same time, I’d love to meet you, my future friends :)

At the moment I live in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Before that I lived in Russia and Indonesia, and I’ve solo-travelled to around 20 countries and 50 cities. I have stories to share and would love to hear yours too!

I’m an easy-going and sociable person who loves talking to people from different countries, backgrounds, and beliefs. I also enjoy nature, hiking, and reading. I prefer meaningful conversations over parties, and real connections over small talk.

Thanks to Couchsurfing, I’ve been lucky to make some really good friends that I’ve kept in touch with for more than seven years now and I’d be happy to make a few more along the way.
