ABOUT ME
i moved to Ketchikan 12 years ago from Pennsylvania. i just needed a change, and i definitely got one. before this i have lived mostly on the east coast NY, NJ and PA but also in MO and AZ.
during my time here i met ted and married in August 2015.
ted and i have really enjoyed our couchsurfers so far- enjoy showing them our little part of Alaska and sharing the things we enjoy with them- hiking, kayaking, beach combing, fishing......

i joined couchsurfing when i was looking for a place to stay in Nome, when i wanted to go see the finish of the iditarod. that didnt work out, but im glad i found the site!
we love our little part of Alaska and enjoy sharing it with others. we really enjoy meeting our couchsurfers- they have all been interesting and pleasant house guests!
in the future we hope to surf ourselves- lots of places we want to see.

i took a chance and moved to Alaska. here i met my husband and we enjoy our lives together- i think thats pretty amazing!

i love it when our couchsurfers prepare a meal for us- it gives me an opportunity to learn a new recipe, or way to prepare a meal.
between my husband and i, we have quite a bit of knowledge regarding SE Alaska, and enjoy sharing with those who are travelling through or looking to relocate here.
