I love trying new things and learning about other cultures. I love meeting new people, but I am quite reserved unless you feed me a couple of beers!

I like to laugh and to see the positive side of a situation.

I was recently living and teaching English in Shanghai, China. I came back home to Nashville, TN this past year. Now I'm ready to get back out there... somewhere... :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Spending time with a local is the best way to get to know a place. I love connecting with people. It makes life so much richer.

Interests

Travel, languages, exploring things alongside someone who shares my fascination with the world, foreign cultures, interesting people, and delicious foods!

Music, Movies, and Books

Doctor Who, Duran Duran, and Rush are ones that first come to mind. Ender's Game (the book). Stargate SG-1. Pretty much most SciFi. Some Fantasy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled around the world with my family when I was a child. Amazing trip! I am sure it had a lot to do with my ongoing passion to see more of this blue ball of ours.
